hello from Colorado's Front Range

There are no restrictions on chickens in Wheat Ridge, other than that your coop can not be in your front yard and must be at least 15 feet from the property line. This I am very glad of since I've had Mesmer since he was a hatchling and I did not know I'd end up with a rooster! But at this point I have spent a ridiculous amount on vet bills (he managed to puncture his foot with a stick!!), enough I'm sure to make him the most expensive chicken per pound EVER. Plus I love him, of course.

What's Arvada's deal? Oh and FYI, I posted 3 chicken vets in Colorado under that post. There were none listed for some reason.

Well in incorporated Jeffco we can have "2 hens or 2 Turkey hens or a horse". We lived over off of 52nd and Eldridge St and I had many chickens, roos, ducks, and 2 geese and a horse. The guy we were renting from foreclosed so I had to find new homes for everyone and it STUNK! But I know they went to good homes. So now were in Olde Town and I'm looking for a noisy horse
