Hello from Columbus, GA

My wife and I have 4 Rhode Island Reds and are new to backyard chickening. My wife grew up on a farm in Michigan and really missed the animals and I wanted to new challenge so we decided to get some chicks. So far everything is going great. I found Backyard Chickens on the internet searching for others in the Columbus area that have chickens. It has been a great resource for us as we have started raising our new pets. (We also garden and brew beer...so chickens felt like a perfect thing to do for fresh eggs).

Does anyone else live in Columbus? I want to see what we can do to change the local laws and ordinances for people on less than two acres. Thanks!

I do not live "in" Columbus but I live near Columbus! We are neighbors of sorts!

I do not know the laws of Columbus, so no help there. Good Luck with your flock!
