Hey there. I am new to the forum and I guess you could say I'm new to chickens too...since I have yet to own any!

I joined the forum to educate myself about raising chickens in order to decide if they're right for me. My husband and I are looking to buy a house soon, and will not be able to keep chickens until then. For now it's just us two, plus 2 felines and a small yard where I plan to grow veggies this summer (in containers, because as a renter I can't dig anything up

). I'm looking forward to learning lots more from all you folks!
