Hi all. I'm loving this forum already. Lots of interesting stories about people's chucks :-) I have silkies, Rhode Island reds, hylines, Peking bantams and wyandottes. I started off with ex-battery hens a couple of years ago, they were lovely ladies and have added to the flock since. We had our first chicks this year. :-)

Hi Chezza, I'm also in Coventry but just started out with my 3 hens 2 weeks ago :-) we went to get rescued battery hens but have ended up with hens rescued from a school who hatched them as a project. They're only 14 weeks and can't wait till they lay their first eggs. How old are your chicks now? :-)
 
Hey welcome to byc, im from Shropshire, I have 4 ex batts, 2 cream legbars, 1 polish, 1 lavender pekin and 1 lemon roo, aged between 2 months and 2 years
