Hello from Denver!

We've finally made the plunge! I've found so much great info on the forums and learning centre, so I've decided to finally stop lurking and post. LOL We got our 1st 2 chicks last week and we're working on getting 6 more. I'm in Denver and I'm looking for specific breeds and wondering where the best place is to post to find breeders in my area. I've not had much luck with the feed stores for several that I want or I've already missed arrivals for several breeds.

X2 on post in your state thread for local birds https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/68894/colorado If you know what breeds you want, do a search on BYC the breed and check/ post on the main breed threads, somebody may know of a breeder or birds in your area. When you have 20 posts you can also put a Want ad up in the Buy-Sell-Trade forum.
