I'm excited to be joining you - albeit from quite a long way away. Katie, Iddy & lizzy have been part of my life now for 2 years, and sometimes I feel like a parent maybe (?) feels. Love them to bits, and worry over their bad eating habits (fed them too much corn when they were young!) and times when they don't all get on (ie pecking order).
They make me laugh and laugh. They love their dirt baths - they almost look like a version of chocolate neapolitan icecream here, and they love digging up my grass just when it's growing its best! And they know how to wrap me around their little fingers - or claws - so to speak.
Backyard chooks have suddenly become all the rage here in Sydney, though that's not why I got my girls. But it's not easy to get the answers to all your questions. So glad I stumbled upon you...
