Here in DG we are to keep 4 hens, but they need to be 50' away from our lot line allowing only about 500 residents this option. I want to move because of this. I am looking into ways to help change the laws, but they shot down the idea in December. My new mission is to get neighbors to sign a petition allowing chickens on smaller lots. I would be happy with 2 hens. Eventually I'm moving to the country on a farm and want to start practicing now.
If anyone has any advice or is local I would love to hear from you.
