Hi everyone.

I'm new to chickens. Got 3 chicks in April and 6 more in May.

All Rhode Island Red females. Looking to produce my own eggs.

Found this site through a search for info on RIRs

Used to raise meat rabbits several years ago (New Zealands & Californians)
but don't have any now.

Used to also breed and raise exotic reptiles & amphibians for
a living for several years until Hurricane Charley came through here..

I may give some meat chickens a try also (cornish rock X)
Looks like lots of good info here.
