Hello...I have raised chickens for nearly 40 years, but have always just bought day old chicks. This forum is by far the most informative I've seen, and I have questions from time to time. I had registered a few years back but couldn't get it to work, so I re-registered and here I am again. I have about 15 barred rocks & R.I. Reds with an Egyptian Fayomis. rooster (first of this breed). This is the best rooster I have ever owned as he is not aggressive to me at all. Had a few you just about had to carry a firearm to go near . We live very rural & are self sufficient. Hope to learn something here.
