Hello From East Tennessee.

My Dad decided he wanted to become a chicken farmer and so he acquired 76 unsexed chicks about 3 months ago. I have become his apprentice and I have no idea what I am doing so I am looking for help and support. To date we have only lost two. They are around 4 months old. They have a nice sized pen to use until they are big enough to be uncaged. We have built several nests and are hoping that we end up with more Hens then Roosters. He says we are going to breed them as well as use them for eggs. This is a picture of our gaggle. is hat how you say it? Nice to meet everyone!
