Welcome to the forum. Glad you are here. I was raised north of Knoxville outside of LaFollette..

I'm not exactly sure what your question is. Are you looking for hatching eggs? Do you have specific breeds in mind? Are you considering raising chickens for eggs and meat as well as for fly tying? Do you want only roosters, which give the best feathers for tying, although some hen's feathers are OK, depending on the fly pattern you are tying? Do you already have chickens?

Not knowing your circumstances and not understanding what you are really after, it is hard to make a suggestion that will really help you. If you are just getting into raising chickens, I'd suggest looking at the hatcheries and ordering day old chicks. If you know which specific flies you want to tie, you can get a specific breed and sex for that, or you can get an assortment for the variety.
