Hello from East TN

Hey y’all! My name is torie. I’m a stay at home mom to a crazy little boy and my husband and I decided to go on this chicken adventure! We have six 9 week old Golden Comets, sixteen 4 week old Cornish Cross and six almost 2 week old Rhode Island Reds. I guess some may think we are a little crazy to get so many so soon as new chicken raisers but that’s just how we are! We like to fly by the seat of our pants! 😂😜 I’ve definitely learned a lot already just by browsing the threads and I’m so happy to be a part of it now!

Hi Torie!! You sound like us! We bought 6 chicks, a week later we bought 4 more, then weeks later we bought another 6! Now 4 months later we are incubating eggs. LoL My husband day I can't go to the feed stores alone anymore. Hahahahaa Welcome aboard, theres a lot of great and helpful people here, plus tons of information. :)

So is mine!! Hahaha we JUST literally got the last 6 out of the brooder into a chicken tractor next to the run & coop, so we can integrate them in about a week or so with the main flock. 2 weeks of peace & quiet, then the eggs will hatch. Rofl :lau
