Hello! In looking for answers to an incubator problem, BYC turns up and I LIKE it! Even though my family always had chickens while I was growing up and I have had a flock again for the past 5 yrs or so, I feel like I don't know much about chickens. Currently we have 1 buff orpington roo, 9 buff hens, 2 other hens, 2 rouen drakes, 9 2-mo-old crossbred chicks, 2-mo-old turkens, 6 2-wk-old buff chicks, and 3 1-week-old guineas. Our 2 sons (ages 8 and 10) are involved in 4-H and will be showing some this year, but mostly we just raise them for their entertainment value.
