I have finally joined - having been lurking in the background and hovering for sometime! I have found the forums here a well of useful information. Thanks.
I am relatively new to poultry - with a flock of mixed bantams - Marans, Pekins, Araucana, a lone Welsummer and (this year) hopefully some Easter Eggers that I've hatched (from the Maran/Aruacans - they're not very common over here). My son loves them too - and many have become pets and have their own little personalities - Tufty, for example, will lay here eggs anywhere but the nest box and likes coffee!
