Hello From Facebook

:welcome

Hi, it's nice to have you here with us!

I used to live in FL and keeping a flock comfortable is a challenge with the FL heat & humidity. You can help them out by providing all the coop ventilation possible, a box fan in the coop to help blow the warmer air out, lots of shade (both natural and man-made), extra waterers, and spraying water on the run floor to cool the ground. Some use wading pools with a couple inches of water for their flock but my chickens wouldn't ever get in one.

@TwoCrows has provided a link to your state thread, I'm sure you can get more tips there.

Good luck!

Welcome!!

This forum is wayyyy better than the FB page. I mean with the helpful answers and advice. I feel the people on here help get down to the actual issue if you have one, where as on FB you will have 50 comments saying 50 different things and some that think Epsom Salt soaks cure everything 🤣

I know personally I have learned a lot from this site in the last year. I've had chickens for 6 years but this past one my flock grew a lot, and it's been such a learning experience that I probably wouldn't have ever gotten through without the help from the people on here 💕
I almost wrote the same. 400 comments on something/one post? Many differing to an extreme?
Much better to Like, Laugh etc response, if you agree. This place is where one Learns and has Fun!
