Hello from Fergus Ontario!

Just wanted to introduce myself!
I recently moved to Fergus and am getting my first flock of Basque hens this Sunday! I am so freaking excited!!

I am planning on having them in the run during the day and free ranging in the evening while I am home.

What I do have a few questions on is feed. What type do you give your ladies? Do any of you ferment your feed? Can you ferment pellets? Do you notice a difference?
