I read this forum some time and now I think it's time to join this forum. I'm from Finland and I have standard and "minis/bantams" cochins in here and allso Quails (and dogs and cats etc). Nice to be in here

Only for pets. Now I have little chicks at both breeds.. black, blue, mayby few mottled and lavendel (minis) and parred and black (allso one frizzle) for standars.
Here in Finland we don't have shows :( That's why its sooo hard to find quality birds and birds whos backround you know. In here we have blacks, buffs, splash etc in same groups. Hopelly next spring I have found few colors and new good blood in my group what I want to breed (lavender, mille, parred and mottled (minis), black and mottled (standards)) then I put them all for their own breeding groups

My mom was just in Finland a few months back. We have relatives there in Rauma.
It's nice to know there are some people there who are also into chickens.
I'm in Alaska so likely a similar climate.

I have friends in Rauma. I live allmost 185km/115miles from Rauma. 90km from our capital helsinki, little town called Karjalohja, middle of nowhere xD
