Welcome fellow Ohioan. I'm not sure where Forest is, so I'll have to look that up.

Our TSC carried what they called Amber Links. I'm thinking it is a production red or sex link breed, usually created from Rhode Island Reds. That's probably along the line of what you got. They are great, dependable layers of large brown eggs. They should also grow to be fairly pretty with red feathers tipped in white. Enjoy!
