Hello to everyone.
I have been keeping chickens and a few geese for the past few years and I am an addict. I love my poultry; they are a great way to relax after a stressful day at work.
I look forward to 'meeting' you and picking your collective brains!

Bonjour, and welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. We are all addicted to chickens here, and you're right, they are a great stress reliever. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of chickens do you have?

Hi there,
At the moment, I have 2 geese that I have raised since chicks and 8 girls and a boy Light Sussex.

At first glance I thought your user name was "French Cook," thought you'd be giving us recipes.

Next time I will wear my reading glasses. Glad you joined the flock

Hi there,

I'm a chicken person and don't know much about geese, but if you have any guestions regarding you geese, just post on our geese section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/47/geese and take advantage of our geese experts there. I do know that Light Sussex are a very good chicken breed, hardy, friendly and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of our Sussex), and good layers of large, brown eggs. Good luck with your flock.
