Hi, I'm hoping to learn about raising chickens in North Georgia. I raised a flock down in Florida, but the weather was much nicer in the winter than it is here, so I'm hoping to learn how tolerant chickens are to the cold.

Looking forward to exchanging ideas!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens Randy all about the same .. Most can do a winter just fine key to that. Ventilation not drafts but so they have fresh air not too many in coop also

Welcome to BYC. They carry their own insulation so winter is no problem as long as they have a dry well ventilated coop and adequate feed and water.
