I've been reading the forums for a while and just wanted to pop in and say hello. We've had chickens for several years now. No particular breed but they lay beautiful colored eggs. Our birds are all free range. The latest (surprise) hatch has brought us to about 40 birds. Thank goodness we live in a rural area.
Here is a pic of one of our Roos, Cal. We have two. Cal and Junior. We first thought Cal was a girl and named her Calico because of her crazy spotting pattern as a young chick. Also a pic of our latest adorable additions.
