Hey fellow BYCers!
My name is Kris. I live just outside Athens, GA (Go Dawgss! - for this football fans out there) with my amazing husband and our child. A miniature Schnauzer, lab weimaraner mix, mini Rex rabbit, and some feathered friends complete our home.
I have been snooping around the forums since we got our first chicken about a year ago. Since then we had to give our former flock to a chicken loving neighbor when we bought our first home. A new home meant a feathered start and a great time to get involved on BYC.
We have now gotten settled in and decided to add a few feathered friends to our little homestead. Since my husband has not yet grasped the concept of chicken math he we out and got us 38 beautiful chicks - a great mixture of black sex links, aracaunas, buff orpingtons, and rir.
I hope I get to know a few of you on my second adventure with chickens!
