Hi Everyone,
My family and I moved from Colorado to Gig Harbor, WA this past summer and finally get to have chickens! Our old house was in an HOA and they didn't even allow compost piles!! (We had one anyway!) We have been planning for a couple of years but finally took the plunge and bought a pre-made coop a few days ago, along with 4 beautiful girls! We are having so much fun already. We're doing it a little backwards... bought the coop and the chickens, put them all in our big shed and are building the fence as we speak so they can have a protected area to roam. My husband works 50 hours a week so I'm actually doing this all on my own which has been interesting! We'll see how it all turns out....
I've learned SO much already from this site and just wanted to officially say hello!
