My first post so glad to be here.
Looking to sponge off the wealth of info here on caring and raising chickens..
I have 4 week old baby chicks who are growing rapidly. Currently building their coop/run and hope to be done within the next week or two.
As far as what type of chicks I have:
2 Easter Eggers, 2 Dominiques, 1 Silver and 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte.
They seem to be getting more social and less shy by the day. (The Easter Eggers are still the most shy).
My first challenge is the Golden Laced is not growing a tail at this point like the others which makes me very nervous that it is a rooster which I don't want. I'm taking a wait and see attitude because it is very early. Time will tell.
