Welcome from a fellow desert dweller! I am afraid that I will be no help on the rooster front. The only way that I can tell for sure is when they crow or lay an egg.
I found out I do have a roo and I must rehome him today! He started crowing right now and my neighbors will never allow this. Is there anyone here locally that would want him. I'm willing to give him to anyone that will give him a good home. He's a really nice bird and I will truly miss him. Please call me at 493-8721. I will not ship him. Here's a picture of him. He's a Delaware and 12 weeks old.
Brand new here I am awating my first group of chicks they should arrive on approx the 18 of this month total of 6 coming I was wondering what size box should I use, a cut down box from a washer or dryer or something larger for when the new chicks arrive.
thanks in advance P.S. my name is George
