hello from Hillsdale County Michigan

Hi newbie here, love this site! We just started raising fowl in April 2010. As of today, June 10th, we have 40 chickens, 5 adults, we think they are brown leghorns. 7 Australorp pullets and 5 Brahma teenagers. We just hatched 18 buckeye and Aussies. We have 5 Muscovy ducklings and 4 White Embden goslings on the way. We plan to pasture our flock. We are two humans, two dogs, and a flock of fowl. themale human has raised chickens, and me the female, is just learning! I am a transplant from Northern Nevada!

Nice area down there in Hudson, lots of rolling hills. I used to work in Tecumseh. I still miss it sometimes.
