Welcome. I am sorry about the loss of your chickens from a predator.(1) YES, I’m new to chickens. Got the first group in mid April. Unfortunately not long after them being moved to a coop outdoors something got into them and killed some and scattered others. I was able to find 1 on the neighbors property 2 days later.
(2) I have 6 chickens
(3) supposedly…. 2 Easter eggers, 1 Rhode Island Red, 2 black Star, and the one I saved at the neighbors ? I thought it was an Egger, but then changed my mind and thought maybe it was the leghorn that survived. Now, not sure. The newer black stars look a lot like her and I was pretty sure the original black star was killed because of how many feathers I found.
(4) They are so core and have such personalities.
(5) Chasing my kids around to all her sports.
(6) My daughter raises pigs for Youth and Ag which is a branch off 4H. It’s just her and I and my husband
(7) I just stumbled across it while trying to find out answers.
