I am new to chickens but eager to learn how to keep a little back yard flock for fresh eggs. I have eggs incubating & am alternately hope & fear to soon be up to my ankles in various breeds of French Maran chicks with a few Barred Holland to keep things interesting. I am here to learn so please feel free to offer unsolicited advice if you see me making rookie mistakes along the way. Thanks, in advance!
