I am brand to to this web site. I participated in getting the ordinances changed to have Backyard Chickens. Now we can have 6 hens in a coop/hen house. The city council voted now it goes to the next step to write the changes. I came here looking for ideas on hen house. It was exciting to me to find so much information already on the web. I would like to Thank all the pryer members for posting their coops and hen houses. I got a lot of good ideas for me to build one.

Congrats on getting the ordinance changed! You should share this good news in the Local Chicken Laws & Ordinances (and how to change them) section, in fact, please do! There are some wonderful coop designs in the Coops section that you can look through for inspiration. Enjoy the site and enjoy your chickens!
