My name is Sara and I’m fairly new to raising chickens. Any useful advice is more than welcome! I have a 2.5 month old Polish cross beak that I’m raising, I’d love some advice on that!! She’s thriving now, I’m hand feeding her and letting her attempt to eat from the feeder. Im puréing her food and feeding her or letting her attempt to eat it from a bowl. I also have other chickens, and have just recently started getting eggs. I had no idea how attached I was going to get to these birds! I grew up with chickens and never cared because I was horse crazy! I had them in my 20’s and it didn’t last long. But now that I’m older I am just giddy about my chickens!

I found this article here that might have ideas for you. You could skip past the tube feeding part most likely but there are other great ideas as to suggested food, beak trimming, etc. Caring for cross-beaked birds.
