Welcome to BYC, Emily! You have a flock of really good layers. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed; calm, gentle, and excellent layers; and the Golden Sex Links are egg laying machines. I'm not sure how far Caldwell, ID, is from where you live, but there is a wonderful chicken hatchery there called Dunlap Hatchery. I've ordered chicks from them several times and have been very happy with their service and birds. The folks there are very friendly and helpful. Perhaps you are familiar with it. Anyway, good luck with your flock.

Hi my name is Arturo from oregon just ran into 4 hens in my back yard so im trying to take care of them till someone comes and claims them ive posted fliers all around the neighborhood see if they come get them but I have them in my garage for now a dog was chasing them so I had to fight the dog off I want to build a chicken coop how do I start
