Hello everyone! I am new here, and semi. We to chicken keeping! We had chickens when I was at home but I am new to this on my own! We have 20 chicks...one is a rooster. We got them from rural king and tractor supply. We have a mixture of breeds! I like the beautiful variety of our girls! Some black sex link, light and dark Brahms, barred rock...some light brownish girls...I honestly am not 100 percent what they are. But I love them none the less!
I look forward to learning from everyone! Thankyou!

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
