Hello everyone 
Newbies here in southern Indiana with 10 Rhode Island Red hens. Have had 4 of them since they were pullets this spring. We adopted 6 others from friends of ours that were looking to deplete their flock.Quite a story about the whole family getting on-board with this entire adventure from the beginning until now. I will most likely try to post some pics to help narrate the story but know this, we've had a ball!....and we're still having fun! This, as well as folks' videos along the way, have helped us a bunch. Everything from brooding, to building the entire coop, to waiting patiently for our very first egg from one of the girls. I do have a few questions but will go wander through the FAQ's first. In the meantime, I wanted to stop here and say hello.... so, Hello
