Hello from Indianapolis

Hello,
I am new to raising feathered friends.
I have no chickens, but have a mallard egg in incubation. I wanted to save the little baby and raise him to be my friend on the lake behind my house. I enjoy gardening and nature walks with my 13 year old son. Hoping to learn alot from this community!

A lone Mallard duck is a lonely Mallard duck. You should seek out a couple of friends for it that are due to hatch around the same time.
