Just wanted to say hello and thanks. A few weeks ago I started looking into the idea of obtaining and raising 3 or chickens for eggs, and came across this site...what can I say but you are great!
Because of the information obtained here I decided to get 3 ducks instead, but it was based on info from this site, again. So thanks once more.
I live in the 'burbs of Indianapolis, IN and a couple neighbors have a few chickens...hence the idea was hatched. haha.
We have 3 ducklings, less than 3 weeks old and so far so good. They are a Welsh H. & Khaki C. mix. I saw the home, hen and drake and ducklings before we purchased them and they come from a nice DIY'er east of Indy.
Anyway, hope to contribute when I actually learn something.
