Hello from Iowa. I live on a small acreage with 2 horses, 30 brown layer hens, a few roosters, 22 newly incubated chicks. This is my first time incubating chicks to sell. I just love the little ones. They are a nice barnyard mix that lays large to jumbo eggs. I am hoping this will offset the feed costs since we are not free ranging this year due to the bird flu. They do have a safe outdoor yard with a roof and hardware cloth sides so they can get out and get some fresh air while still staying safe. I also have a large garden that was downsized due to health issues . I now have a raised garden made of old stock tanks that have been painted cute. I am so excited to be on this site.
