My name is Meg and I am new to raising some crazy chicks! My sister-in-law has been raising chickens for the last three years and insisted it was a blast, so my husband and I decided to go all in and purchase 11 pullets and a cockerel. We purchased them as 3 week old chicks and they have all started to show their personalities..needless to say, I am completely attached. I love having them in the house as small as they are right now but am excited for them to grow up and start laying some eggs! I have spent needless hours building our coop and let me tell you..I'd live in it. I'm excited to be part of backyard chickens as I have resourced this forum for many questions I've had and can't wait to begin getting to know all of you!
