Hi everyone! I'm considering raising chickens in my backyard. I have room for a coop and am in the beginning stages of learning what I need to get set up. When's the right time of year to start this adventure? Looking forward to some good information!

! I hope you find everything you need and more! The right time to embark on this wonderful journey would most definitely have to be Spring if you are thinking about raising chicks! Please PM me with any questions you may have!

Still trying to figure out if it's allowed. So far everything is pretty vague. Any suggestions?

You may need to look at the laws and ordinances section of this website. If that doesn't help. You may want to contact your states Dept. of Agriculture and see what they say!
