Hi from the CA desert,
I'm new too. I just got my hens about two weeks ago and they're doing fine. My chicken house is new. It has an aviary on one side of it and that is where my roo Daddy'O is now as his future harem are too young for him yet. Had to chat with someone from KS. My hubby is from there. He was born in Payola and still has relatives in the area. I'm a transplanted Englishwoman but have lived here since I was a young girl.Hope you have as much fun as I'm having with my flock of ten plus roo.
