Hello From Kansas!

I am new here, lol. I have 9 NHR hens, 4 BR hens, 1 NHR Roo named Sue (guess why...), and BR roo named Scooter who can't get no love at all. And two ducks of indeterminate providence.

I'm a writer, blogger, and a new gardener who's pushing hard for self-sustenance on my little 1/3 acre until I can get on something a little bigger. My needs are few, unfortunately resources are fewer -- aren't they always?
