This is my first post....I was so excited last month when I got my splash Marian rooster and 2 Aracauna pullets! Unfortunately a raccoon found them a week later and figured out how to open the door to the place where they lay eggs. He killed my two little hens but the rooster fought him off. Just got two more more more mature hens and have my coop way more secure. Happy to have these chickens and excited (again) to join this group.
