We got our first chickens about 6 months ago. Hope to post some pictures soon. Its been a fun experience!

Chickens are so much fun to keep, aren't they? Most people have no idea just how enjoyable they are to raise.

One sad thing however - I have one polish rooster I need to give away since he's crowing :(
Do people often take roosters for free on the BST forum? He's very gentle and nice, I feel sad to give him away...
 
Welcome to BYC ChaCha! You should post on Seattle.Craigslist.org if you want to give your rooster away. I gave away a bantam rooster a couple of weeks ago CL. You will get a lot of responses.

Where did you buy your polish chickens? I am looking for a couple pullets to add to my flock.

Depending on the bird and your location, you might be able to find a home for him. You might also try posting in your state/local thread - look in the Where am I - Where are You section of the Forum. Good luck.
 
I got him form coastal farm and ranch in auburn WA. They have lot of diff chicks to pick from.
