Hi I live in Lancaster oh can tell me anything about being allowed to raise chickens in Lancaster I know some people near me have some but is it legal / I would like to get a few so I can have some fresh eggs .

I am not sure about in the city limits. How close to the city are you? Do you know were the house is on Memorial drive beside the Super America? They have geese in their back yard. I will look it up and get back to you. Welcome! Nice to have someone so close join the BYC.

Hi I Iive off of 188 near J&R bait if you know where that is on shoshone Dr I know people near me have chickens I can hear a rooster crowing in the morning, and two blocks over from me another person has hens in there back yard , and yes I do know where the geese are on memorial Drive. I just want to make sure before I get a coop and some hens it's OK .
