Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself! I just signed up to the board a little while ago and have already learned so things! Wow....its something new everyday with chickens isn't it?? Anyways... I am just a simple country girl from the south. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world! We have 4 dogs, 5 cats, 1 goldfish, and I lost count of how many chickens and chicks!! LOL!

We have been rasing Silkies and Cochin bantams this past year. We have just recently started rasing Turkens, Guineas, Japs, Polish, More Cochins and Silkies in different colors, and a few Game. Whew....I am tired already!! I am gonna take a guess and say I have about 150 chicks right now and five incubators full off eggs. I think I am gonna be busy!! I have also been running an animal rescue for the better part of 10 years. Mostly dogs and cats but I do some goats and other small animals. Well....thats all I can think of at almost 1am! Feel free to ask me anything! Peaches

And "Ghost" he is actually a "guardian" cat! He keeps watch over the chickens...no joke!!
