Cool! I'm your neighbor! I live in Leesburg also and am starting with chickens this year as well.

I have outside a big coop on wheels, and electric poultry netting for pasture rotation- as well as to keep out the predators and my dogs and cat. Hopefully the hawks and vultures leave them alone.

So far 3 comets outside laying already and 14 "pullets" from southern states, who gets their chicks from Mt. Healthy who has a 90% accuracy for sexing... but I have some suspicions! We'll have to see. They are 2 weeks old.
