Hello everyone. I am a granny with 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. My youngest, Mark, lives in Carrollton Dallas with his wife Bethany and son Jacob who is 7 years old. My two married daughters both live in England.
I have a Staffy Bull Terrier named Milo, a Crested Gecko named Feebee and a baby Oranda fish simply named Bob.
I have 3 Light Sussex Hens which I got in April this year to add to my original flock after my 3 year old Columbian Blacktail Lacey passed away to some unknown ailment.
My husband enlarged the run doubling the size for the 5 girls but unfortunately the other 2 original girls, an Amber named Belinda (Avatar) and my gorgeous French Maran Cooky Monster passed away within 2 weeks of each other to the same ailment.
So I am left with just the 3 new girls now with lots of room. They stay in their run all morning and then free range in the garden til early evening. They are gorgeous pretty faced birds (as much as chickens can be pretty) and they lay the most yummy scrummy eggs every day.
