Hello,

After many years with out chickens, I'm a new chick mom! Not just any chicks, these are Jave chicks!

I ordered Black Java hatching eggs a couple of months ago from Superior Farms. Out of 12 eggs 2 hatched, this is better by 2 than I expected.

After looking around the net at Black Java chicks I don't think these are Black Java at all but Mottled Java. What do you think?

I share our small farm here in NH with 2 registered Haflinger horses and a lazy beagle.
