Thank you All for the warm welcomes ! And...for the suggestions. I went back to my breeder and it turns out that my "little" Coco is not am Ameracauna , as I suspected. She is a Black Cochin. Now I've done some reading on this breed and mostly find that this breed only lays 2-3 times/week. Hooray for us, Coco, at 7 mos old, has been laying 5times a week
