Greetings from dark and wet Longview Washington...my name is Linda and we have 5 pullets. We started with 6 chicks but lost one to a coon a couple of weeks ago. Now we lock our girls up in their house at night. Been setting the trap every night but so far all we have caught is a possum. I am sure we lost the one to a coon because her head and part of her crop was gone/eaten.
This is the second time I have had chickens (it's been about 20 years ago) but the first time for my husband.
Our girls should start laying in the next month.
