Hello,
I have been stalking the forums here for quite some time and decided it was time to join up :) I raised pullets commercially for 15 years, but now I'm having much more fun raising a small number of birds. Right now, I have 8 Black Copper Marans, and 18 (and counting) Dominiques hatching out in the incubator.
Thanks so much for such helpful and informative forum!

glad you decided to join us.

It does surprise me that one with commercial experience would want to have chickens at all, but am sure the small flock is more fun than work.

Good luck on the hatching.

Hi :welcome Marlene

Glad you could join the flock! Many of us were lurkers before joining, I was one for ages!! Good luck with your hatch :fl I just love incubating and hatching, nothing quite like watching the new chick emerge into the world.

Good luck in the future and enjoy BYC :frow
